Whether you are having your very first panic attack and need some immediate advice, or you have been suffering for years like me, you have come to the right place.
As someone who endures anxiety and panic attacks myself, I didn't know where to turn for understanding and compassionate advice.
It was overwhelming sometimes.
Then I realized something.
I didn’t have to bear this burden alone. There is a wealth of information “out there,” and I just had to find it!
Browsing through the other anxiety websites out there, nothing really fit what I was looking for. I wanted more than just a collection of medical articles, a message board on a general health site, or a list of tips to relax.
I wanted to understand panic disorder better, hear from other people who were “in the trenches,” and learn strategies to help me ease my anxiety - all in ONE spot!
That’s where the idea for this website was born.
All the other sites were so, well, impersonal.
I wanted to feel like I was sitting across from a friend, talking about our latest triumph or challenge in treating our panic attacks and anxiety.
My wish is that’s how you feel as you navigate through this website.
Take it from someone who’s been there, done that. You don’t have to travel this road alone.
You’ve got me, as well as the thousands of other visitors to this website.
So, go grab a cup of warm tea.
It’s ok. I’ll wait…
Got it? Alright, let’s get chatting then!
